The traditional Moroccan scrub glove, often called Kessa, has its roots in North African bathing culture and is primarily used in connection with hammams – the classic steam baths that have been a central part of daily and spa culture in Morocco for centuries. In the hammam ritual, the glove is used after the skin has been softened in hot steam and often treated with black soap.

Material:
100% viscose (plant-based).

Features:
Effectively exfoliates the skin by removing dry skin and dead skin cells. Stimulates blood circulation and promotes cell renewal for softer, smoother skin. Counteracts bumps and reduces the risk of ingrown hairs.

Washing instructions:
Hand wash. Do not tumble dry.

Usage:
Step 1 - Prepare the skin
Shower or bathe in warm water for 10–15 minutes to open the pores. Avoid using soap, shower gel, or oil, as the effectiveness of the scrub glove relies on direct friction against the skin.

Step 2 – Prepare the scrub glove
Wet the scrub glove and gently squeeze out excess water before use.

Step 3 – Exfoliate the skin
Exfoliate the skin with firm, up and down movements until dead skin cells are removed. Rinse both your body and the scrub glove after use and let the glove air dry.

Recommended use: Once a week. The scrub glove should not be used on the face, and should be used with extra caution on thin or irritated skin areas (avoid sensitive areas such as open wounds, eczema, or active acne).
